Preschool

Taylor is officially a preschooler.  We held off as long as we could but now that she is 4 we decided she needed to be independent.  There were no tears.  In fact, she practically pushed me out the classroom door. This girl loves going to school.  She comes home completely exhausted and can barely make it back to the house without falling asleep in the car.

Making caramel apples for the first day of school.   We made one for Taylor's teacher and one for Dad.  He is of course the best teacher we know!
Our first apple making attempt was successful and super yummy.

Taylor's 4th Birthday

Our little lady turned 4 over the summer.  I can't believe she is growing up so stinking fast.  She had a super fun party at Pump It Up.
Sitting on the birthday throne.
I can't believe we got this many kids to stop jumping to take a picture.
I think there was a rule about how many kids could do down the slide at once.  Obviously they didn't listen.
Ethan and his buddy Bailee preferred dancing over jumping and sliding.
Taylor's cake
Couldn't resist making these cake pops that I found on Pinterest.

New Cousin

We were blessed with the news this summer that we have another new cousin.  This is Reagan.  She is super cute and fun.  We have been having a great time getting to know her.  Poor Ethan.  He is still the only boy!

Summer Fun

I know it has been forever since I updated the blog!  We have had an amazing summer.  We were on the go each and every day.  Keeping two little ones occupied is certainly a full time job and boy has it been fun.  Greg was off this summer so we thought we would make the most of it and do a lot of traveling.  We went camping 4 times, went to San Diego, flew to Seattle, went on a Mexican Cruise (without kids), and did a ton of fun things!  Below are a few pictures of SOME of the things we did. Sorry I didn't update the blog as much as I should have.  To be honest every spare moment I had was dedicated to my new addiction -  pinterest.  I'm telling you if you haven't started, don't.  It is like a cult.  It pulls you in and will never let you go.
And now for the pictures:

Seattle Fun
We spent 6 awesome days in Seattle.  We stayed with my cousin Val and her family.  The Prentice family always does an amazing job of entertaining us while we visit them.  We went to a great 4th of July parade and BBQ.  We also went to Remlinger Farms, The American Girl Store, and went out on Uncle Mike's Boat.  The kids loved Seattle and Ethan is now in love with airplanes.

San Diego
We went to San Diego for a week this summer.  We did it all,  beach, zoo, safari park, and sea world! The best part of course is seeing all our family that lives in San Diego.  Greg and I are so lucky that we have so many family and friends that visit with us while we are in town.

Mexico
Greg and I took an amazing 7 day Mexican cruise.  We left the kids with Nana, Pa, & Nikki.  I think we missed the kids more than they missed us.  I can not explain how wonderful the cruise was.  We spent most of the days reading, relaxing, eating, and drinking.

Days in Las Vegas
We did spend some time in Vegas this summer.  We had fun exploring museums, going to playgroups, playing in the house, going to the pool, going to free movies, and bowling.

Playing in the house.
Watching a free movie at Town Square.  Popcorn is not free!
We babysat baby Claire one day.  Super Fun!
We took a tour at CiCi's Pizza with our playgroup. Each kid got to make their own pizza.
We went bowling with some friends.  It too 12 kids 2 hours on 2 lanes to bowl 1 game!
We spent a lot of time at this park.  The water features are awesome.
The reason why we try and leave the house everyday.  Folks, this is our playroom.  And it goes from clean to this in about 30 minutes!
