Rain Makes Us Silly

Its been raining for 5 days straight. The rain is making Taylor very silly.

In this picture she is pretending to be Santa. She lined up all these baskets and put stuffed animals in them. The she got in her sleigh and started shouting ho ho ho.

In this picture she is pretending to ski. She got two mopping pads and her dad's beanie and slid around the house pretending to ski.

Gingerbread Houses

We didn't make it to Grandma Becky's gingerbread house party this year so we decorated a small house of our own this week. Last year Taylor had no interest in decorating houses, and wasn't allowed to have candy. My how things have changed!

Taylor did a great job decorating the house. I did certain parts and she did some others.

I don't know how, but I got her to smile for the camera.

She did more eating than decorating.

Taylor was obsessed with these pink peppermint circles. She held onto them the whole time we were decorating.

The finished product!

Bellagio At Christmas Time

We went to the Bellagio Conservatory this week. We do it every year. Probably because it is one of the only free things to do in Vegas. We certainly weren't the only ones there. I think the whole town wanted to see the decorations this year.

Rock N Roll Kids

We went to Rock N Roll Kids for the first time last week. It's just like gymboree, but way cooler. The kids had an amazing time. We can't wait to go back very soon.

Santa Round 3

We've seen the big guy 3 times now. He seems to be everywhere we go and we just can't resist him. Our playgroup hired a Santa for our Christmas party which was really cool. Santa gave each kid a present and visited with us all for an hour. I definetly felt like I got my moneys worth.

All the kids waited for everyone to get their presents, then the unwrapping began. It was so crazy to watch 15 kids unwrap presents at the same time. Wish I would have had the video camera on me.

When all the kids were playing with their gifts Ethan went over to Santa and played with his bell. Santa loved Ethan, so I think he'll bring him something nice this year.

Ethan wore these adorable pants that Aunt Nikki made. Soooooo cute!

Busy Bakers

We had 2 cookie parties to go to this year so we have been very busy bakers. We made over 200 peanut butter balls!

The bakers

Taylor was in charge of quality control. She had no problem tasting one from every batch.

I never want to see another peanut butter ball again!

Santa

Taylor is a big fan of Santa. Its all she talks about. This year Mr. & Mrs. Claus were at our mall. They were both so nice. They talked to Taylor for about 5 minutes before taking the photo. The next day Taylor put on one of her dress up outfits and told me she was Mrs. Claus.

Family Photos

It's that time of year. We had to have new family pictures taken for our Christmas cards. We went out to Red Rock one chilly Saturday morning and got some super cute shots. Aunt Nikki took our photos for us once again this year. She is really getting good at this photography thing. Here are just a few of the many photos I loved.

Yo Gabba Gabba Live

Yes, we let our daughter watch this show. I don't know why. Maybe because it makes her dance around and be silly or maybe because when she is cranky it puts her in a good mood. I was so embarrassed to take her to Yo Gabba Gabba Live and then when I saw all the other parents and their kids I didn't feel so bad. I am not the only parent who lets their child watch this wacky show. And I'm not the only parent who broke the bank paying for an awesome night.

Family photo in front of Brobee. We left Ethan with Nana for the night.
Taylor had the best time. This smile was worth every penny we spent on the night.
Mom and Taylor watching the show.
All of Taylor's Gabba friends were there.
Dad and Taylor in front of Muno. Muno is Taylor's favorite character.
The funniest thing happened when we were at the show. When we found our seats they were right next to Taylor's friend Katie and her family. Katie is in our playgroup. We didn't even know they were coming to the show. It was fun for the girls to dance around together. In the picture Taylor is showing off her new Gabba shirt to Katie. I can't believe that Taylor's first concert t-shirt is to YGG. I really thought her first would be from a Dave Matthews Show. Oh Well!

Crazy!

Every day when I get into the shower Taylor decides to strip down to nothing to be just like momma. She runs around the house naked screaming, "Just like Momma". Yesterday she decided to be even more like momma and put on my underwear. She had so much fun. I don't think I'll be able to wear that pair again after all the stretching and pulling she did with them.

The Magical Forest

We went to Opportunity Village's Magical Forest this weekend. We had never been before and Taylor thought it was great. Not only did the money go towards a great cause, but we had a ton of fun. It was a very chilly night, so we were bundled up tight.

Taylor's favorite thing was to ride on the carousel.

\Ethan slept most of the time, but towards the end we caught a glimpse of his eyes.

Tub Time

Taylor and Ethan took their first bath together last night. They were so cute playing together in the tub. They splashed each other and had a great time.

Splish Splash in the bath.

Taylor was a big help in the tub.
All clean and in our jammies.

Thankful

We have so much to be thankful this year. We hope everyone had a great turkey day.
