Splish Spash but Not in the Bath

We used Taylor's Easter money to buy this super cool water/sand table at Target the other day. Taylor played with her cousin Lauren's table while in Seattle and we thought it would be a good investment for the summer. The weather was perfect on Tuesday (90 degrees and no wind) so we put the table together and took it outside to play with. We only put water in the table because after our visit to the beach we've learned that Taylor believes sand is good to eat. It was neat to watch her splash and play in the water. Taylor pushing the boats around in the water. The Steele family from Arizona gave Taylor this adorable princess bathing suit. Somehow I got wetter than Taylor (I did not have my suit on though). We are starting a new trend here in Vegas, swimsuits and tennis shoes. I know soon we'll be seeing this look throughout the country. It is quite swanky right!

Dirty Girl

Taylor loves to eat! Lately though, she has been quite difficult to feed. She loves to grab the spoon and her new favorite thing to do is smear food all over her face. As you can see she gets quite dirty during dinner. I guess this is why bath time always comes after dinner time in our house.

The Easter Bunny Came!

Now that Taylor is getting older the holidays are getting a little more exciting. Greg and I were expecting a lot of excitement Christmas morning and were a little disappointed when our 5 month old had no interest in opening up gifts. Easter was another story. Taylor was had a blast opening up and playing with her Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. Taylor couldn't wait to open the basket up and see all her goodies.
Playing in plastic wrap is so fun.

The eggs are great. Who needs candy. Plastic is way better.

Easter Fun

We had a wonderful Easter spending time with family and friends. In the afternoon we celebrated with the Jacobs Family and then later in the day we celebrated with the Steele Family.Family Easter photo.

Taylor and cousin Abby having fun outside. Abby was able to take off her oxygen tubes earlier this week so she was in a very happy mood.

Taylor and her silly Dad!

Grandpa Ron and Grandma Pam with Taylor.

What a cutty!

No Jacobs Family holiday would be complete without beer pong!

Happy Easter

I wanted a cute Easter picture of Taylor, but didn't want to spend a ton at Kiddie Kandids so we attempted to take some pictures ourselves. Taylor's great grandma sent her the ears for an early Easter gift and we borrowed this cute basket from Grandma Becky. I think they turned out pretty cute and cost $0. I'm not quite ready to start my own picture taking company or call myself a photographer, but I am very satisfied with myself right now. Don't worry, I will find something else to buy with the money I saved. I must keep the economy going.

Going to Sea-a-a-attle...and we're gonna see cou-u-u-sins. (Think "Going to the Chapel")

Greg and I have off this week due to Spring Break so we hopped on a plane to Seattle to visit cousins for the week. We had so much fun. Our Seattle family kept us very entertained. We went on Uncle Mike's boat, visited Pike's Market, played at the Children's Museum, walked around Green Lake, and of course went shopping. Believe it or not, we didn't get any rain! It was beautiful weather the entire trip. Here are the cousins.
Lauren, Hadley, Taylor, and BenMom and Taylor on the plane. This was Taylor's first plane ride. She did great. Cousin Ben and Taylor loved this mirror at the Children's Museum.
Taylor was amazed by this fish tank at the museum.
Ben and Taylor became fast friends. They played so well together. They would pass toys back and forth to each other. Mom and Taylor playing on the pig at Pike's Market.
We had lunch down on the water one day. Taylor loved watching the nasty seagulls that were stalking us.
