Lake Mead & Picnic

The weather this weekend was amazing. It was over 70 so we spent most of our time outside. We went up to Lake Mead to feed the fish at the marina and had a picnic at the park.

Greg and Taylor feeding the fish.

It was gorgeous out at the marina.

The fish were very hungry. I don't think many people have been visiting since it has been so cold the last few weeks.

More fish feeding.

Mom and the kids.

I didn't let Ethan out of his carrier. I knew he would dive right into the water. I was able to snap this pic of him and the fishies though.

Eating our picnic lunch at the park in Boulder City. Ethan loves playing on the grass now.

Taylor loves going down slides now.

Love this little guy.

Down on the Farm

Just 5 minutes from our house is this adorable little ranch. They have goats, horses, chickens, rabbits, pigs, and sheep. It's totally free and a lot of fun. We brought crackers and carrots for the animals to eat and Taylor was so cute feeding the animals.

The rabbits were Taylor's favorite.

The goats were not shy at all.

Ethan was really scared of the horses. He screamed like a little baby when he saw them. He had a very worried look on his face most of our visit.

Ethan warmed up to the animals over time. I think he actually liked the bunnies.

Taylor was very worried about how dirty the pig was. She kept telling me that he needed a bath.

Aunt Nikki's Birthday

We celebrated Aunt Nikki's birthday last week at our house. Taylor loved blowing out the candles and eating Nikki's cake.

Nana's Birthday

It was Nana's birthday a few weeks back. She was kind enough to babysit even on her birthday so we brought her some balloons!

2011 Is Here

Happy New Year! We rang in the new year with the Rash Family. We had an awesome fondue dinner and played board games till the clock reached midnight. Taylor and Ethan both stayed up passed their bedtimes, but didn't make it to 12:00.

Car Seat

We got a ton of new toys for Christmas but for some reason we still play with silly things like car seats. Both of the kids love playing with this car seat. Not a day goes by that we don't use it for driving purposes and for playing in.

Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 was amazing! This was Ethan's first Christmas and Taylor was really into the whole Santa and present thing so we had a blast. We started the day off at 5:30 AM! We opened up presents and got ready for visitors. Greg's family came over for breakfast and gifts and then the Steele family came over for dinner and more presents. The kids were totally spoiled this year and we feel so blessed that we got to spend the holidays with all our friends and family members.

Ethan loved looking at the presents that Santa brought.

Taylor loved playing her presents and Ethan's presents.

Daddy and the kids opening up more presents.

The Jacobs family opening up presents.

Taylor got a unicorn pillow pet from her cousin and loved it.

Ethan modeling his cape Aunt Nikki made him.

Aunt Nikki got the kids a motorized jeep just like hers!
