The Magical Forest

We went to Opportunity Village's Magical Forest this weekend. We had never been before and Taylor thought it was great. Not only did the money go towards a great cause, but we had a ton of fun. It was a very chilly night, so we were bundled up tight.

Taylor's favorite thing was to ride on the carousel.

\Ethan slept most of the time, but towards the end we caught a glimpse of his eyes.

Tub Time

Taylor and Ethan took their first bath together last night. They were so cute playing together in the tub. They splashed each other and had a great time.

Taylor was a big help in the tub.
All clean and in our jammies.

Thankful

We have so much to be thankful this year. We hope everyone had a great turkey day.

He's Standing

I'm so proud and so sad at the same time. My little baby is growing up and becoming a little boy. He can crawl as fast as Wylie Coyote and now he can pull himself up to stand.

Puff Time

We decided to see how Ethan does with some puff cereal. It took him about 5 minutes to eat 1/3 of a puff. He kept spitting it out and putting it back in his mouth. I guess he's not quite ready for solid foods yet.

Go Rebels

Friday night was the first UNLV basketball game. The whole family went to the game. We made it to half time (we were up by 20 points and it was way past our bed times). We had a blast and can't wait to go again this weekend.

We may have to buy another seat next year. It was quite cozy with the four of us sharing our two seats.

Anderson Dairy Tour

We visited the Anderson Dairy (really just a factory) with our play group last week. We watched how milk is put into jugs and saw a bunch of fun ice cream machines.

We watched a movie about the history of the dairy. The kids were not really impressed, but I found it quite interesting.

At the end of the tour we ate some yummy ice cream that was made at the dairy.

We found a ladybug outside and watched it for a long time.

Trick-or-Treat

We had a blast trick-or-treating in our neighborhood on Halloween night. Nikki, Nana, Pa, Uncle Mike, Aunt Cindy, and the Rash Family came over to celebrate the holiday with us. We had a chili feast and then went door to door in search of some treats.

Our little pig loved Halloween. She got a ton of candy, but only likes lollipops. Mom and Dad will have to eat the rest!

Ethan got a lot of candy and loved playing in it.

Aunt Nikki's new dog Duke dressed up too.

Pumpkin Carving

Aunt Nikki came over and helped us carve pumpkins this year. I am not to sure why we carve pumpkins every year. After about 5 minutes I am so over the whole tradition. Taylor did enjoy it though. She didn't want to touch the seeds or goop but thought the knives were really cool.

We had a hard time finding a pumpkin we could fit Mr. Ethan in.

It was a beautiful day so we carved outside this year.
