Wild About San Diego

We love San Diego so much. It is like our second home. Last week we took the kids and Aunt Nikki to San Diego to meet up with some friends and family. We did a ton of fun stuff and were so sorry to leave. On our last day we visited the Wild Animal Park. Taylor was really excited to see the animals and her favorite part was seeing the baby elephant that was just a few months old.

Taylor loved the petting zoo

Ethan loved getting out of the stroller and playing in the kiddy area.

Sand, Water, & Fun

While in San Diego we went the beach. This was Ethan's first time and he was thrilled. He kept crawling towards the ocean and every time we'd pick him up he screamed. I was amazed that he didn't even try to eat the sand. We brought along some buckets and shovels and Taylor kept herself very busy playing with them and looking for shells.

Sea World

We went to San Diego last weekend to meet up with a lot of friends and family. Our first stop was Sea World. It was a little rainy, but we had a blast anyways. This was Taylor's 3rd trip, but this was definitely our most memorable. Taylor has been talking about Shamu for 4 straight days. We are going to have to go back soon!

Valentine Photos

Aunt Nikki made the kids super cute t-shirts for Valentine's Day. I snapped a few pics of them right before we left the house this morning.

My cuties! I had to bribe Taylor with candy so she would sit down and take a picture.

Taylor being super silly.

Ethan is not walking, but he is trying!

Valentine Cookies

Taylor and I made Valentine's Day cookies the other day for our friends and family. Taylor did more eating than helping, but we had fun.

Taylor frosting her heart cookies with the pink frosting.

After about 10 seconds she realized that frosting tastes great. She started out licking her fingers and then went straight for the knife (not a smart move).
Taylor licking the frosting off the cookie she made.

Taylor's finished cookies. These went into the trash when she was not looking and we gave our friends the ones that I frosted.

Ethan's First Work of Art

Taylor was finger painting a picture for her Uncle Dan's birthday. Ethan looked so sad watching, so I decided to let him try finger painting for the first time. He had a blast and only tried to eat the paint once. We went straight from painting to the bath.

Face Painting

Taylor went to her friend Lucas' birthday party last weekend. It was an awesome party. He had a jumpy house, face painter, and balloon artist there. I forgot my camera, but was able to snap a few pics of Miss T after the party.

The balloon artist was amazing. The things she made were really cool. Taylor picked the most basic of balloon animals - a pink poodle. She called him noodle all day.

Taylor was so good when she got her face painted. I've never seen her sit so still for so long. The next morning she woke up and told Greg all about her butterflies on her face, and then realized they were gone! I guess she forgot that they got scrubbed off in the bath.

Kate Middleton Watch Out

This girl thinks she is a princess. Everyday, all day its all we do and all we talk about. She is the dress up queen. She even sleeps in her dress up clothes some nights. I am sure when Prince William reads this blog he'll think twice about marrying Kate.
