Cheryl & Mike's Baby Shower

We went to a baby shower for Greg's cousins Cheryl and Mike. They are expecting a baby girl in November. At first Taylor thought it was another birthday party for her.

Taylor helped Mike and Cheryl open their presents up.

Ethan loved all the attention he got at the shower.

Taylor and Abby loved all the jellybeans that were at the party. Every time I looked over Taylor had new ones in her hands. It is a miracle she went to sleep after the party.

The girls loved playing with the balloons too.

Chuck E Cheeses

We planned on going to a bouncy house place today, but when we got there we realized they had moved locations to the other side of town. On our way home we passed Chucks place and decided to spend a few dollars and see how Taylor liked it. Turns out she's a fan. We only spent $5 on tokens and had a blast.
Taylor loved this tractor ride with Barney. I think she rode on it 7 or 8 times. She is still talking about it.
I was surprised that she wasn't scared of Chuck E. Cheese. He is a little odd looking.

Greg and I love playing Skee ball and now Taylor does too.

Ethan decided he wanted to ride this fire engine.

Taylor did not really enjoy the racing games. Maybe she'll like them when she is older.

Childrens Museum

Taylor loved playing in the grocery store at the museum. The cash register was an extra big hit with her. She loved all the money in it.

Ready for lift off. Taylor thought this plane was really cool.

Dr. Visits

We just had our latest well child check ups for Taylor and Ethan. They are both very healthy and happy kids.

Taylor's 2 year stats and info
34 inches tall
weighs 26 pounds
Loves reading books in bed, her brother, blankets, Ernie, cartoons, riding her new bike, animals, cooking, dancing, coloring, and playing with play dough.

Ethan's 4 1/2 month stats and info
25 1/2 inches tall
weighs 16 pounds 5 ounces
Loves drinking mama's milk, watching his sister act crazy, his hands, dogs, sitting in the upright position, chewing on things, laughing at his daddy's funny faces, and reading books.

Big Boy

Ethan loves to be in the sitting position and his new favorite toy is his baby pod seat. He'll sit in it for an extended amount of time. He loves sitting in it to watch me cook dinner.

Carousel Ride

Taylor went on her first carousel ride last week. We are desperately trying to find cheap indoor activities for Ms. Taylor to do. We saw on our Seattle cousin's blog that they went on a carousel the other day, so we decided to go to a nearby mall with a carousel to do a little shopping and have some fun. Taylor was very amazed at the experience and as soon as she got off she wanted to go again.

Daddy, Taylor, and Ernie rode on the biggest horse there was.

Ethan dozed off while we were shopping at the mall so he decided to sit this one out.

Action shot! Thankfully the carousel goes really slow.
