Cookie Party

We made it to Jenny Rash's cookie party again this year. Taylor, Aunt Niki, and I spent hours making cookies in the morning to take to the cookie swap. Taylor had a great time playing with all the big kids. She also loved Jenny's tree. It had ornaments on the bottom and she thought since she could reach them they were for her!

First Christmas Cookie

Taylor enjoyed her first Christmas cookie last night after dinner. Grandma Becky makes the best frosted sugar cookies and we finally let Taylor try one. She loved it!!! We have never seen her eat anything so fast.

Santa

We finally made the trip to the mall to see Santa. Great Grandpa Fred and Grandma Pam spent the day with us. Taylor did so great with Santa. She was so happy to see him. She kept saying ho ho ho. When we put her on his lap she wasn't so sure. She didn't cry, but you could tell she was a bit nervous. After seeing the big guy, we went down to the Bellagio to see the beautiful garden decorated for Christmas.

Oh Christmas Tree

The tree is up and it really feels like Christmas around the house. Taylor was a big help this year putting up the tree. The ornaments only went on the top portion this year, and I think it looks great. She is having fun playing with all the presents under the tree. Sorry the pictures are sideways. We got a new computer (a mac) and I am having difficulties adjusting.

Thanksgiving Fun

We had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday this year. We went to Grandma Becky's house and enjoyed lots of great food and fun with the Jacobs Family. After celebrating Thanksgiving we decided to dive into the Christmas holiday by decorating gingerbread houses. Eating some yummy food. Our little girl. The weather was amazing so we spent a lot of time outside playing. As you can see Greg was a big help decorating the house this year. Our new home!Looks like everyone had a great time decorating.

Grandpa Ron's Birthday

Grandpa Ron turned another year old last week so we had the family over last weekend to celebrate his birthday and watch some Charger football. We always look happy when the Chargers are winning.
Grandpa Ron and his favorite, lemon meringue pie!
We took a break at half time to go for a walk and to play at the park.

Family Photos

We took a short family trip up to Utah the other week. We took some cute family photos. There were so many cute ones. It is so hard to decide.

Go Rebels!

There are so many reasons the Jacobs Family loves November. We love the crisp fall weather and eating turkey. But the biggest reason we love November is it is the start of the UNLV basketball season. We go to all the games and we love to cheer on the Rebels. Our little Rebel Girl.

An Early Christmas

Christmas came a little early for Taylor this past weekend. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Pam bought this adorable playhouse for Taylor. She loves playing in it.Sitting in her rocking chair in front of her house. We put her play kitchen inside the house. She could play in their for hours if we let her.

My grandpa Fred built the house in my parents garage and then they transported it over.

Great-Grandpa Fred and Taylor!

Trick or Treat

Taylor was more into Halloween this year. She had a lot of fun trick or treating with her Cousin Abby.Quack Quack, I'm a little ducky for Halloween. Raiding Auntie Kate's Halloween treats.
Taylor's little tush shook when she walked. It was too cute!

Taylor did not want to hold hands with anyone. She is very independent these days.

Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is always so much fun. From the slimy goo to the cuts on our hands. We always have a great time and ask ourselves why we do it.
Ready to carve!

Daddy's big helper.
Those are some good looking pumpkins!Last year Taylor was adorable sitting in the huge pumpkin. We had to use towels inside the pumpkin so she would fit. This year, it didn't go so well. The pumpkin was huge and so was the baby. She hated the feel of the inside of the pumpkin and let us know it. This was the only picture I got.
