Taylor's first birthday party was last weekend. We had a ball celebrating with our little one year old. It was a ladybug party. Taylor loves them whenever she sees them in books. Grandma Becky and Grandpa Don were nice enough to host the party at their house for us.Taylor in her ladybug dress all ready for the party to begin.Daddy and Taylor checking out the balloons.
Opening up presents with mom. Taylor loved all of her gifts. Thanks everyone!

Playing with her new stuffed dogs.
Time for cake. Well, not exactly. I made these little cupcakes instead.
Singing happy birthday to Taylor. She was very unsure of all the attention.
Taking a bite out of the first cupcake. Taylor really loved the frosting. It was super sweet.
After a few bites! Wow, black frosting is not the way to go for a cupcake. Many people at the party did not try the cupcakes after witnessing this. I am still trying to figure out why!
After the cupcake Taylor went straight into the sink for a little scrub. Frosting gets everywhere!

She looks darling in her lady bug dress. And those cupcakes- SO cute. Not that I'm surprised since you are ultra crafty. Wish we could have come to the party. Miss you guys!
I LOVE her lady bug dress. Hayden was suppose to be lady bug themed, but her mom isn't as creative as Taylor's mom. It looks like Taylor had a great time!
