Baby Food Day

Greg is super sick this weekend so Taylor and I decided to make today Baby Food Day. And literally, it took the whole day. We made about 2 months worth of food. We had a great time spending the Saturday together. Too bad Daddy didn't get to help.

Saturday Schedule:
4:30 AM - Taylor wakes up, so mom is up too. I decide today will be Baby Food Day.
5:00 AM - We plan the food we will make. Mom looks up some new recipes. We make a list.
5:30 AM - Taylor and I clean the house. Why I cleaned before cooking all day I will never understand.
8:00 AM - Off to Whole Foods to buy all our yummy food.
9:00 AM - Unload groceries.
9:30 AM - Go to Target and Babies R Us for some goodies.
11:00 AM - The steaming, baking, freezing, and food processing begins!
1:00 PM - Break time! The REBELS played the Utah Utes and Won!
3:00 PM - Back to work.
5:30 PM - DONE!

Finished foods: prunes, peaches, pears, carrots, peas, squash, green beans, sweet potatoes, turkey dinner, chicken dinner, beef dinner.

The Finger

Who needs a thumb when you have a perfectly good finger? Taylor is not a thumb sucker, instead she chooses to chew on her right index finger. We think this is because she is teething, but who knows. It is so funny to watch her gnaw on her finger for hours at a time. MMMM! This is the best finger.

Thursday was Grandma Becky's first day watching Taylor and her cousin Abby together. It looks like the girls had a great time together.

Our Baby Girl is a Reader!

Taylor has recently found the joy of reading. Taylor will sit with her book and read it for hours (well more like 10 minutes, but that is hours in baby time). Her parents are so proud that their little girl loves books. Mom has already been out to Barnes & Noble to stock up!

This story must be fascinating.Mom and Taylor reading US Weekly. Taylor loves this magazine. Mom and Taylor fight over who gets to turn the pages. It doesn't seem like Taylor likes the articles though. She tends to just look at the pictures of the stars.

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful time spending Christmas with the Jacobs Family. We went to Grandpa Don and Grandma Becky's for Brunch. Then we went to Jeff and Kate's house for Dinner. Once again we ate too much and opened up too many presents on Christmas. Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Grandpa Ron and Grandma Pam's house. We had a wonderful dinner and opened up a lot of gifts. Taylor crashed as soon as we began opening up the presents.
