Emily's Birthday

We were so happy that we got to help Emily celebrate her birthday.  First, Taylor and I went to her super fun birthday party at the mall.  The girls split up into teams and we did a scavenger hunt all over the mall (you can imagine why Ethan and Greg stayed home).  The next night the Rash family came over to celebrate Emily's birthday at our house.

Summer Camp

The private school across the street from us has a summer camp that runs every week.  The other week Taylor got to go with her cousin Abby.  She was so excited and had a blast.  While Taylor was away Ethan and I would walk down to the coffee shop and enjoy some quiet time before hitting the park.

Henderson Farmers Market

It's a little hot here, but it doesn't stop the farmers market from being open.  Taylor has cheer class on Fridays right next to the  farmers market so we love to walk over and check out all the goodies.  The other day we bought some yummy popcorn and cherries.  

Rec Center Pool

We always have so much fun at the rec center pool.  The kids swim and play with their friends until they are  ready to pass out from all the fun they have had.  

Apricots & Zuchinni

Apricots are one of my favorite things to eat.  The orchard out in Vegas grows some of the best and at only $1 a pound we can't resist driving out at least once a year.  We went with a few friends and picked lots of apricots and even some zuchinni.  Then we went home and made some yummy apricot preserves!
