We have a new cousin! Baby Claire Elizabeth Jacobs was born on April 12, 2012. She was 4 pounds 6 ounces. She is still in the hospital, but is doing better every day. She is now off oxygen and just needs to gain some weight before she can come home. Greg got to go visit her on Sunday with his brother Jeff and he said she is super cute!

Greg's Birthday
Gymnastics
While Taylor is at her preschool classes Ethan and I have been having some fun one on one time. We go to the library, park, or run errands. A few weeks ago I was looking at the catalog at the rec center and realized that a gymnastics class was going on at the same time Taylor was taking her preschool class on Thursdays. We have been having fun. Ethan doesn't really enjoy the structured circle time activities, but loves the free play on the gymnastics equipment. Last week Greg was on Spring Break so he came to the class too.
Easter
We had two fabulous days of Easter celebrations this year. First we headed over to Nana & Pa's house. They were going to be out of town on Easter so we celebrated a few days early. Then on Easter day we went over to Grandma Becky's house for some more Easter fun.
Dinner at Nana & Pa's
Taylor was our master egg hunter.
We started off Easter morning with some yummy bunny pancakes.
Our silly Easter Bunny left our baskets in the trampoline.
All the Jacobs kiddies ready for the egg hunt to begin.
The Jacobs Family
There were so many eggs at Grandma's house. The kids tired out before they were all picked up.
Egg Hunt
My friend Nancy is amazing. She organizes this big egg hunt at our neighborhood park for all her friends and family every year. Each parent brings 2 doz eggs for each of their kids. We through them all over the park and then let the kids pick them up. We were blessed with a beautiful day for egg hunting this year.
Ready to hunt for some eggs with our baskets.
All lined up and ready to go!
The Easter Bunny (my friend Nancy) came and visited with everyone.
Easter Preparations
We had a lot of fun getting ready for Easter this year. We of course colored Easter eggs, and this year we decided to make Easter popcorn eggs for our friends and family.
My little taste testers. They sure do love popcorn.
These were super yummy and easy to make.
Coloring the eggs was a lot of fun. The kids mostly watched me, but really enjoyed it.
Our finished eggs. We only made 6 because we are not really hard boiled egg people.
They tried to eat the eggs, but I didn't get rave reviews for this snack.

Choo Choo
Easter Bunny
Taylor and Ethan went to see the Easter Bunny the other day. This was their first visit ever to see the bunny. Ethan was not too sure of the Easter Bunny, but he didn't cry so that was good. Taylor is very anxious for his visit on Sunday. She has already told me about 5 things that she wants from the Easter Bunny. I am afraid that she thinks that Easter is like Christmas and she is going to be spoiled with gifts. I guess she'll find out on Sunday that Easter and Christmas are not the same.
Touch a Truck
Ethan is 2
My little boy is growing up. Last week he turned two. I can't believe how fast time is going by. We had family over to celebrate Ethan's big day. He loved being the center of attention.
Ethan helped me make cake pops for his party favors.
Ethan is in love with Thomas right now so I made him a train cake. This picture does not do Ethan's excitement justice. He was so excited when he saw his cake.
Ethan loved sharing his cake with Nana.
Taylor and Abby waiting for their cake.
Time for presents!
Ethan got a ton of choo choos for his birthday.
